"Famous" Dave + Emma Mouat are your hosts at Famous Daves Tattoo Studio.

Dave, who was born in Hamilton and attended Fraser High School, started tattooing in Scotland in Early 2000. His experience has been at DMD Tattoo Studio, which was his own studio in the Shetland Isles. On returning back to New Zealand 7 years ago, Dave was employed at A Point of View Tattoo Studio by the very talented Allan "Spud" Pudney which is located in downtown Mount Maunganui and at Skinks Tattoo Studio in Hamilton. On the 15th Feb 2006, Dave and his wife Emma opened Famous Dave's in Hamilton.Over the last 5 years they have evolved their shop in many ways. The most recent change being the relocation of Famous Dave's Tattoo Studio, just before Christmas 2009 to Morrinsville (Cream of the country) The layout is open plan and gives a very welcoming feel when you arrive and look around.(there is also privacy for the more private customers). Emma is always at hand to discuss,develop or answer questions about your tattoo ideas which means Famous Dave can do your tattoo without interuptions
